Following up the All-Star Break’s initial disappointing 5-5 home stand followed by an even harder to watch 1-9 road trip, the Colorado Rockies 2013 season appears to be walking the plank. With most Denver sports fans far more concerned with whom the Broncos starting center is two weeks into training camp, it appears that like Elvis, baseball has left the building in the Rocky Mountains. But for those baseball fans that are still looking for a team to cheer on as the summer winds down, there is another bandwagon to hop aboard, or should I say ship to stow away on. As a child watching John Elway lead the Denver Broncos to consecutive Superbowl titles, Aaron was convinced he was was going to be the next heir apparent, slinging footballs across the Rocky Mountains.
Unfortunately as he "grew" into his 5'5 115 lbs frame he realized that the the peak of his athletic career seemed to coincide with the completion of his Bar Mitzvah. Looking for a new path, Aaron found the the skill set of an actor more to his liking. Aaron holds a B.A. in theater from Point Park University, and has been spotted preforming in various theaters throughout the United States.
Even after his dreams of someday taking over for John Elway crushed, sports have continued to consume a much too large percentage of his life. He is honored to be a contributing writer for DerekinDenver.
